The definition given to Ready Mixed Concrete (RMC) by the American Concrete Institute’s Committee 116R-90 is as follows:
“Concrete that is manufactured for delivery to a purchaser in a plastic and unhardened state”.Ready Mixed Concrete (RMC), as the name implies, is the concrete which is delivered in a ready- to-use manner.
The Indian Standard Specification IS 4926:2003 defines RMC as under:
“Concrete mixed in a stationary mixer in a central batching and mixing plant or in a truck-mixer and supplied in fresh condition to the purchaser either at the site or into the purchaser’s vehicles”.
In the Indian subcontinent, concrete has conventionally been produced on site using unsophisticated tools and employing large labour force. Ready mixed concrete is enabled by an advanced technology featuring a high degree of mechanization and automation. Typically, an RMC plant consists of silos and bins for the storage of cement and aggregates respectively, weigh batchers for proportioning different ingredients of concrete, high efficiency mixer for thorough mixing of ingredients, and a computerized system for controlling the entire production process. The quality of the concrete produced at such a hi-tech plant is much superior to site-mixed concrete.

We have expertise in delivering our in-house manufactured RMC to the site through vehicles and sets of equipment which facilitate fast transport. We use high capacity powerful concrete pumps to lift concrete mix to any height.
